Depart Heathrow (T1) 2105, arrive Seychelles 1100.

2 - Monday 2nd November 2009 - Mahé
Arrive in the Seychelles at 1100 and transfer by private coach (40 minutes)
to the Sunset Beach Hotel, Mahé. Free time, welcome reception and
dinner in the hotel. Overnight at the Sunset Beach Hotel. D

3 - Tuesday 3rd November 2009 - Mahé
Depart by private coach for a half-day guided walk along an easy coastal
trail with thick vegetation and wonderful sea views to the small and secluded
beach of Anse Major. This picture-postcard palm studded beach is our destination
and where you will be tempted to have a swim. We then return along the
same route and get back to the hotel in time for an optional lunch. Free
time in the afternoon. Overnight at the Sunset Beach Hotel. BD

4 - Wednesday 4th November 2009 - Mahé
Depart by private coach for half-day guided walk of the Copolia Mountain
trail to see a variety of plants and endemic species of the Seychelles,
followed by a visit to Victoria and optional lunch. Victoria is the smallest
capital in the world and our visit includes the local market, church,
clock tower, museum and other historic monuments. Overnight at the Sunset
Beach Hotel. BD

5 - Thursday 5th November 2009 - Bird Island
Free time this morning before departing for the domestic terminal for our Air Seychelles flight (30 minutes) to Bird Island. Check in at 1345 and depart at 1425. We land at the airstrip, which is only a short walking distance away from the main complex on this 70 hectare island, which is the most northerly of the Seychelles Archipelago and completely surrounded by sparkling white beaches offering swimming and exciting snorkelling. Full board is included at the lodge for the next two days and free time allocated for the remainder of the day to soak up the atmosphere of this wonderfully tranquil location. Overnight at Bird Island Lodge. BD

6 - Friday 6th November 2009 - Bird Island
Free time today on Bird Island plus a guided nature tour of the island
(3 hours). Overnight at Bird Island Lodge. BLD

7 - Saturday 7th November 2009 - Praslin
We bid farewell to Bird Island for our flight back to Mahé departing
at 1300, arriving at 1330. We are then off again on another flight to
Praslin, departing at 1415, arriving 1430. On arrival at Praslin a private
coach takes us to Praslin Jetty for the 30 minute journey by local schooner
to La Digue, departing at 1530. Transfer by private coach for the Paradise
Sun, where we spend the next five nights. Overnight at at the Paradise
Sun, Praslin. BLD

8 - Sunday 8th November 2009 - Praslin
Depart by private coach for a half-day guided nature walk in the Vallee
de Mai. Our two hour guided walk through the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve
is along well maintained paths in a primeval forest as old as time. The
famous coco de mer plant grows naturally here - the nut of the female
coco de mer is the largest seed in the world, weighing up to 40 pounds.
If we are lucky we will catch a glimpse of the rare black parrot with
its high-pitched whistle. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight at the Paradise
Sun. BD

9 - Monday 9th November 2009 - Praslin/La Digue
Full day visit to La Digue to include schooner, guided walk and lunch.

10 - Tuesday 10th November 2009 - Praslin/Coco/Sister
Schooner trip to Coco Island and Sister Island, BBQ.

11 Wednesday 11th November 2009 - Praslin
Free-time today to relax and enjoy the beaches and amenities of the hotel. Overnight at Paradise Sun. BD

12 - Thursday 12th November 2009
Transfer by private coach at 0800 for Praslin's domestic terminal for
the 15 minute flight to Mahé, departing at 1120, before the departure
of our flight back to UK. Depart Seychelles 1455, arrive Heathrow (T1)
2145. Flight time 10 hours 30 minutes.
