INTRODUCTION
A trip to Colorado is one of the finest experiences skiers of all standards can enjoy. The pistes are amongst the best maintained in the World and for real powder-hounds, the off piste is superb. Combine that with ski in, ski out luxurious accommodation and one of the best weather records available and it really is snow heaven.
Beaver Creek has three distinct on-mountain villages and two amenity-laden towns at its base. On any given afternoon, you can ice skate in Beaver Creek Village, ski west to Bachelor Gulch, taking a break on the patio of The Ritz-Carlton, and take a trip to the quaint town of Edwards or browse the boutiques.
Each village has its own unique character and mountain setting, and travelling around the three villages is easy with Beaver Creek's complimentary village transportation. From the gentle, manicured slopes of Bachelor Gulch, to the open intermediate trails of Larkspur and Rose Bowl, to the steep bumps of Grouse Mountain, skiers and riders of all abilities will feel at home on this mountain.
Known for its scenic 32km dedicated Nordic and Snowshoe track on the top of Strawberry Park, the resort is a delight for non-skiers too. It is also North America's World Cup mountain and a favourite with World Cup skiers. It is a modern, custom-designed resort with the cozy, unhurried feel of an Alpine village.

We stay at the Beaver Creek Lodge. Situated at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain in Colorado ? one of the world?s top ski resorts ? it offers a sublime retreat of mountain chic luxury with ski in/ski out convenience and just a step from shopping, dining and entertainment. The Hotel has a heated outdoor pool & hot tub, sauna & steam room, spa, a climbing wall and an ice skating rink.
Activities on offer include skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, snowmobiling and dog sledding.
We travel to Colorado with British Airways from Heathrow to Denver. We anticipate the price for flights, 10 nights bed, full breakfast and evening meal, private transfers and gratuities will be in the region of £2800. Lift passes and lessons are available as an added extra.
