If you like the idea of heading East to escape the winter blues, we have another visit to India in November 2012. Our focus is on Rajasthan with it's unique culture and atmosphere, but we couldn't resist adding a visit to The Golden Temple at Amritsar. We have squeezed in an extra trip for 2012, to New England. This is a three centre holiday visiting Boston, Cape Cod and Newport Rhode Island. Highlights include Nantucket Island,the Americas Cup Yachts, the freshest lobsters going, the Freedom Trail and the holiday mansions of the wealthiest Americans from the turn of the last century. There'll be walking, sailing, cycling and eating like a pilgrim on this interesting and varied excursion to the New World. In February 2013, there's another first for Langdale Holidays - a visit to the deserts and mountains of Oman. This high quality holiday to one of the least known, yet most exciting destinations in the Middle East, offers excellent accommodation, travel in 4x4 vehicles through desert sand dunes and the opportunity to get off the beaten track in rural and mountainous areas where people live much as they have done for centuries. David and Denise are there now and we're looking forward to hearing of their adventures on their return. 
But first there's spring and summer to enjoy, with visits to Lundy in March, Amalfi in May, a trip to one of our favourite Swiss resorts, traffic-free Zermatt for superb walking beneath the magnificent Matterhorn in June, a weekend in Ravenglass and Eskdale in June/July, Oregon in September and little visited Northern Cyprus for late summer sun in October.It promises to be a busy year, so why not follow us on Facebook for ideas, tips and an update on what we're doing. Each tour with Langdale Walking & Adventure Holidays is carefully selected so that we travel to destinations at the best time of the year. We use qualified, experienced local guides and holidays are accompanied by our own tour leader. We pride ourselves on a very personal level of service, from initial enquiry to safe return home. Regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), all our holidays that include flights are protected through our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL). Upgades to Business Class or Economy Plus are available on request. If preferred, we offer tours without flights so that you can arrange your own international travel.
