	Welcome to our website that introduces you to our worldwide programme of tours planned for 2010 and 2011. You can also view comments received from clients who have travelled with us. 2010 is proving to be a great year to visit Iceland. While many people are still reeling from the impact of Eyjafjallajokull's volcanic activity, others are taking advantage of a rare opportunity to witness a spectacular natural display. Much of our trip is to the West of the Island, well away from the volcano, but at one point we should be close enough to enjoy the view, especially of the night sky (assuming that the volcano is still active in September!). If you are looking further afield and would like to escape from another British winter, our visit to India in November is centred on the breathtakingly beautiful and culturally fascinating region of Rajasthan. We include the option of an extension to the Golden Temple of Amritsar, which is surely one of the wonders of the modern world. Next year we have another exciting programme of tours. Highlights include a Rafting Expedition on the Grand Canyon, our first visit to the hitherto hidden Kingdom of Bhutan and an unusual exploration of a seldom visited but fascinating peninsular in Japan. Finding it difficult to decide where to go for the perfect holiday? Why not join us on one of our reunion weekends, where regular travellers with us swap stories of the trips they've experienced. We have three this year, in Gower, the Cotswolds and the Lake District. Each tour with Langdale Walking & Adventure Holidays is special and carefully selected so that we travel to destinations at the best time of the year. We use experienced local guides and each holiday is accompanied by our own tour leader. We pride ourselves on providing a very personal level of service, from your initial enquiry to your safe return from one of our tours. The emphasis is always on style, comfort and quality. We only use reliable airlines and try to obtain convenient flying times and routes so as to make the journey as comfortable as possible. Regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), all our holidays that include flights are protected through our Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL). Upgades to Business Class or Economy Plus are available on request. If preferred, we can offer tours without flights so that you can arrange your own international travel.
